Flagstaff Impression

First and foremost, I did complete my daily goal from yesterday. I was able to go home last night and get plenty of sleep which always makes the following day run smoothly. Talking shop for a little bit... we have amazing deals stacked with spectacular rebates on most of our vehicles on our lot. We just received another shipment of vehicles from trucks to cars and all in between.
One thing that I really like about Flagstaff is the sense of community. I have been downtown a few times and in a certain degree, it almost reminds me of that show Cheers. It seems like everybody knows everybody and for the most part everybody actually likes everybody. When I first moved here on my first day of work I was astonished by the simplicity of one paticular question. "How are you doing?" That question in itself isn't that big of a deal but what actually surprised me was the pause after the question was posed. They waited for a response! It is something I can get used to for sure.
I was a smidgel bit discouraged about moving to Flagstaff because of the smaller population but going downtown on a friday or saturday night doesn't feel like a small city in the least; instead, it is vibrant. I look forward to going to spring and summer so I can do the fun things I hear about such as the art walk and outdoor movie. These are the little things when put together that negate the cons of a smaller population. Life and opportunity touched with community and passion is what i've noticed Flagstaff to bring me. I couldn't be happier to be here and i'm grateful for the opportunity. I believe this city illustrates feeling in a way that the blind can see and the deaf can hear.
Today is going to be a great day!
